I can't get out of my mind the Middle Eastern missionary we prayed for while I was in India. He was heading home from the conference knowing that he might face arrest and interrogation the moment he arrived.
"One thing we are so grateful to the Westerner for," one African told me with great emotion, "is that they brought us the Gospel. Without it, where would we be?"
This poignant comment caused me to ask myself that question: "Where would I be without the Gospel?"
Roger packs his bags for India, this month, to support a YWAM conference that is training missionaries in wholistic church planting.
This conference, called Kingdom Advance, "is an international gathering of YWAM staff and students around the cause of seeing God's Kingdom come among the poor and unreached." They expect to see hundreds of missionaries equipped to take Christ's message in both word and demonstration.

Because of your help, five African church planting trainers met in November to set out their goals and strategies to see God’s Kingdom expand. I want you to see an example of the intentional plan written down by one of these leaders. He is not only implementing new trainings in new areas, but also bringing along other leaders from his own team in order to develop their training skills. After three days of sessions, here is an outline of one trainer’s plans:
You can see why we have such high expectations for the movement of God's Kingdom throughout this region as well as the other areas where similar strategies were set!
